Sol Ye - Producer / Line Producer
叶先开（Sol），毕业于加州查普曼大学创意制片系，目前居住在北京。作品曾入选上海国际电影节，洛杉矶亚太电影节，圣保罗国际短片电影节，Vimeo Staff Pick等超过20个国家的电影节/平台。目前正在制作关于成都地下青年文化的长篇纪录片，以及VICE和腾讯视频合作的系列纪录片分集。曾参与线下的国际项目包括张艺谋《长城》，迪士尼出品、刘亦菲主演《木兰传说》（中国部分副制片主任），首部中国-塞尔维亚合拍片（执行制片人），以及58届戛纳电影节影评人周最佳短片《南方少女》（现场执行）。2018年3月，她被英国电影协会（BFI）选作5位电影人之一参加中英合作交流项目。Sol同时拥有丰富的广告经验，合作品牌包括Burberry，Vans，戴森，宝马Mini，Urbanears等。
As a bilingual producer/line producer with diverse education and work background, Sol aims to bring high quality, contemporary Chinese content to the international audience. Her past works have been showcased in festivals and platforms in over 20 countries, credits include line producer for the first China-Serbia co-production as well as the 58th Cannes Critics’ Week award-winning film SHE RUNS. Sol is currently producing a feature documentary with dir. Ben Mullinkosson on underground youth culture in Chengdu, China whose conceptual short is now live on Nowness. She’s also producing a global episodic series for VICE and Tencent Video.
Sol was selected as one of the five Chinese delegates to attend an industry program organized by British Film Institute (BFI) where she worked at Studio Canal in 2018. She also worked as the China Asst. Production Manager for Disney’s MULAN where she worked with New Zealand, US and China crew in 4 remote regions in China.
Her commercial clients include Burberry, Vans, Darphin, Urbanears, Sotheby’s, etc.
Sol earned her B.F.A degree in Creative Producing at Chapman University in Orange, California.
